Hi, I’m Adam Carnes! (Owner of StarKaraoke and SeniorTainment)
I was born in the peach state of Georgia and raised in New Jersey (and a few other “pit-stops” along the way). From an early age, I watched my parents carve their own paths, and I absorbed every lesson like a sponge—especially when it came to the art of entertaining and uplifting others!
My father, a retired AM Radio Correspondent, taught me the power of a captivating voice and the importance of keeping an audience engaged. I spent countless evenings by his side, marveling at how a simple story or a well-timed joke could light up a room (or airwaves!). My mother, a devoted parent and a successful real estate broker, showed me that dedication and heart go hand in hand. From her, I learned patience, professionalism, and that there’s always room to grow—even when you think you’ve learned it all.
Over the years, I’ve worn many hats—Network Administrator at Quest Diagnostics, CDL driver, claims adjuster, and more. Each role sharpened a different skill set:
- **Network Administrator**: Problem-solving under pressure and keeping systems humming
- **CDL Driver**: Embracing the open road, punctuality, and safety-first thinking
- **Adjuster**: Attention to detail, empathy, and clear communication
While these varied experiences have enriched my life and broadened my perspective, nothing compares to the thrill I get from making people smile.
I’ve been entertaining since the late 2000s, whether performing live shows or hosting events. The rush of hearing laughter and applause never gets old and it’s been a rewarding journey. Whether I’m on stage, behind the mic, or working behind the scenes, my passion is simple: to create joy, connection, and unforgettable moments.
Entertainment isn’t just a profession, it’s a calling. I believe that joy is contagious, and a single moment of shared laughter can transform someone’s day (or life!).
Everything I am today stems from the generation that molded me:
From my parents to the countless colleagues and audiences I’ve served. My intent is simple but heartfelt—to give back, inspire the next wave of entertainers, and pay forward every lesson, every smile, and every moment of encouragement that brought me here.
